Public meeting demands SIT probe into young bride's death in Manipur

Thoubal (Manipur), Nov 6 (UNI) A Joint Action Committee (JAC) has been formed at Heirok in Thoubal district following the suspicious death of a 23-year-old married woman at her shop in Mayang Imphal Chabung Company, Imphal West district, on Thursday. The committee has demanded the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the arrest of those responsible within three days, warning of intense agitation if its demands are not fulfilled.
