Jamtara cybercrime link emerges in Odisha fake SIM racket

Bhubaneswar, Sep 24 (UNI) A fake SIM card racket with links to cybercrimes in Jamtara has been busted here with the arrest of three persons and seizure of 120 sealed SIM cards and other documents, police said. The racket came to light during investigation of a case registered at Sambalpur Cyber Police Station on September 22. Police said the accused allegedly used customers' identity documents and other papers to generate multiple SIM cards against a single number.
