Jewellery worth Rs 3 Cr looted from a shop in Bihar

Sasaram (Bihar), Oct 27 (UNI) Four armed masked criminals looted jewellery worth approximately Rs 3 crore from Kanchan Jewellers holding the shop owner hostage at gunpoint near Mahatma Gandhi Chowk in Kochas town of Rohtas district on Tuesday afternoon. According to police, the criminals who arrived by a motorcycle, threatened the shop owner with firearms and fled with the valuables. The robbers also took away the digital video recorder (DVR) connected to the shop's CCTV cameras before fleeing the scene. Rohtas Superintendent of Police Raj visited the spot following the incident.
