Odisha Vigilance finds 24 plots, five buildings in DA search against officer

Bhubaneswar, Sep 29 (UNI) Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday unearthed 24 high-value plots and five buildings, including a flat, during searches against a state government official in connection with a disproportionate assets case, officials said on Tuesday. The searches were conducted against Umakant Samantaray, Assistant Director of Factories and Boilers in Sambalpur, as part of an investigation into alleged possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income, the officials said.
