Jharkhand HC sets aside order in BCCL land dispute

Ranchi, Sept 29 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court has set aside a 2023 order of the Principal District Judge, Dhanbad, in a land dispute involving Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and restored the appeal for fresh consideration. Justice Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, hearing C.M.P. No. 691 of 2024, observed that the appellate court had apparently overlooked documents filed by petitioner Tapeshwar Singh in support of his claim over 11 decimals of land at Saraidhela in Dhanbad.
