Arunachal Cabinet approves empowered committee to guide SUMP PFR survey

Itanagar, Sep 23 (UNI) The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, on Wednesday passed a resolution approving the constitution of an Empowered High-Level Committee to guide and coordinate the Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) survey and associated activities for the proposed Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP) in Siang and Upper Siang districts. The Cabinet said the move was aimed at ensuring that the survey is carried out in a transparent, peaceful and people-centric manner.
