Jharkhand Chamber seeks adequate supply of new notes, coins

Ranchi, Oct 31 (UNI) The Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries has urged the Reserve Bank of India and banks to ensure adequate availability of new currency notes and coins across the state during the festive season, citing complaints from traders about shortages. The chamber has written to the RBI's Assistant General Manager and Regional Director, the State Level Bankers' Committee (SLBC) general manager and senior officials of various banks, seeking steps to improve the supply and distribution of small-denomination currency.
