Amit Shah visits Chorbagan Stampede victims, cancels puja circuit

Kolkata, Oct 18 (UNI) union Home Minister Amit Shah visited a private hospital on Kolkata's Eastern Metropolitan Bypass to meet those injured in the stampede at the Chorbagan Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal, which claimed 19 lives on Sunday. He cancelled all his scheduled Durga Puja pandal visits following the tragedy. Shah, who arrived in Kolkata on Saturday night, had expressed deep sorrow over the incident.
