Odisha: School students march 8 km to Collector's office over lack of basic facilities

Bhubaneswar, Sep 21 (UNI) Hundreds of students of a government-run residential school for SC and ST children in Odisha's Mayurbhanj district today marched around eight km to meet the Collector and protest alleged lack of basic facilities, poor-quality food and inadequate classroom teaching, officials said. The protest erupted at the Bisipur Government Residential School in Khunta block, where the students initially blocked the road before setting out on foot towards the Collector's office.
