Odisha DGP reviews security ahead of Oct 8 bandh, orders continuous surveillance

Bhubaneswar, Oct 7 (UNI) Odisha DGP Binayatosh Mishra on Wednesday directed district police chiefs to maintain round-the-clock surveillance and take preventive measures to ensure peace and public safety during the October 8 Odisha bandh called by the INDIA bloc. Mishra chaired a high-level review meeting through video conferencing at the State Police Headquarters to assess the law and order situation and security arrangements across the state ahead of the bandh.
