Bengal CM stands by parents of child battling incurable disease, vows action against coercion

Kolkata, Sep 29 (UNI) A six-month-old child suffering from the rare and debilitating genetic disorder spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) was among the most poignant cases brought before West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari at his 12th Janata Darbar in Salt Lake on Tuesday. The child, identified as Ritwi Ghosh of Belgharia, was brought to the public grievance programme by his parents, Supriya and Koel Ghosh.
