Landowners call off KMMPT blockade after talks with DC

Lawngtlai (Mizoram), Nov 2 (UNI) Landowners affected by the construction of the Kaladan Multi-Modal Transit Transport Project (KMMTTP) have withdrawn their proposed road blockade scheduled for November 3 following discussions with Lawngtlai Deputy Commissioner Donny Lalruatsanga on Monday. The meeting, held at the Deputy Commissioner's office chamber, was attended by leaders of the Young Lai Association (CYLA) and the Lawngtlai District Land Owners' Association, representing landowners along the KMMTTP road.
