Kolkata, Sep 17 (UNI) West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee president Shubhankar Sarkar on Thursday threatened statewide protests over what he described as an "uncontrolled" rise in the prices of essential commodities, vegetables, fish, meat and chicken.
