Bihar CM orders crackdown on criminals, directs strict action under CCA

Patna, Oct 9 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Friday directed police and administrative officials to intensify action against criminals and anti-social elements, stressing that maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety remain the government's top priorities. Chairing a high-level review meeting at the 'Sankalp' auditorium at Lok Sevak Awas here, Choudhary called for effective crime control, improved policing and strict enforcement of legal provisions, including the Crime Control Act (CCA), against habitual offenders and anti-social elements.
