Bihar CM instructs officials to expedite land acquisition for industrial projects

Patna, Oct 16 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today directed officials to expedite land acquisition for industrial projects and ensure timely compensation to landowners to accelerate industrial development and attract investment to the state. Chairing a review meeting of the Industries Department, the Chief Minister reviewed industrial development initiatives, investment opportunities and the implementation of ongoing projects. Industries Department Secretary Kundan Kumar made a presentation on the state''s industrial policy, departmental programmes, the status of land acquisition for industrial purposes in various districts and investment-related initiatives.
