Farmer ID drive launched in Arunachal; six districts covered in pilot phase

Itanagar, Oct 5 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh has launched a Farmer ID registration drive aimed at creating a verified database of farmers and improving the delivery of agricultural schemes and services. Agriculture Minister Gabriel D Wangsu on Monday launched the Farmer ID Generating Camp at Roing in Lower Dibang Valley district and appealed to farmers to participate in the registration process and cooperate with departmental officials engaged in farm mapping and data collection.
