Agartala, Oct 7 (UNI) Tripura government on Wednesday declared a 3 per cent increase in the Dearness Allowance (DA) for government employees and the Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners, bringing the total DA/DR to 44 per cent. Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha told media that the decision was taken in a cabinet meeting on Tuesday night, and noted that the adjusted DA and DR would come into effect on October 1. "This decision will incur an additional cost of approximately Rs 300 crore each year, while the state government will allocate about Rs 125 crore in the current financial year,"…
