Telangana's Singareni to raise Naini coal supplies to Yadadri plant

Hyderabad, Sept 17 (UNI) Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) has decided to enhance coal transportation from its Naini coal mine in Odisha to the Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Telangana to meet the state's energy requirements, SCCL Chairman and Managing Director Dr Buddhaprakash Jyoti said on Thursday. Reviewing coal production, stock position and transportation arrangements with senior officials, Jyoti directed officials to gradually increase transportation from the current average of around 2,100 tonnes per day to 10,000-14,000 tonnes per day.
