Industry commits Rs3,590 crore to accelerate India's decarbonisation: CII

Hyderabad, Sept 17 (UNI) Indian industry has committed investments of Rs3,590 crore towards electrification, process improvements, waste-heat recovery, digitalisation, IoT and artificial intelligence to accelerate the country's decarbonisation efforts, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said on Thursday. The announcement was made at the 25th CII Energy Efficiency Summit 2026 in Hyderabad, which brought together policymakers, industry leaders, technology providers, academia and sustainability experts to discuss India's transition towards a net-zero economy.
