SSEL ships first 175 MVA, 345 kV EHV transformer to US

Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) Shirdi Sai Electricals Ltd (SSEL) has shipped its first extra-high voltage (EHV) power transformer, a 175 MVA, 345 kV unit, from its Naini manufacturing facility in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, to the United States. The shipment marks a milestone in its international expansion and strengthens its capability to manufacture high-capacity EHV power transformers for global markets, the Hyderabad-based company said in a release here on Tuesday.
