Stock Markets remain under selling pressure, reverse early gains

New Delhi Oct 12 (UNI) Indian Stock Markets on Monday came under renewed selling pressure with the Nifty slipping towards 22,300 amid losses in IT, FMCG and financial stocks. Markets reversed early gains due to the elevated US bond yields, persistent foreign investor outflows and geopolitical concerns weighed on investor sentiment. At close, the Sensex was down 547.65 points or 0.76 percent at 71,924.68, and the Nifty was down 157.10 points or 0.70 percent at 22,363.35.
