Amazon logs festive shopping boom in Odisha, smart appliances, fitness gear lead demand

Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 (UNI) Smart appliances, AI-enabled kitchen and home gadgets, sports and fitness equipment and automotive products have witnessed a sharp surge in demand in Odisha during the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026, , Amazon India Director for Kitchen, Home Improvement and Sports Karthik Subbarayappa said. Addressing newsmen here, Subbarayappa said kitchen and home appliances in Odisha sold at seven times their regular-day levels during the festive shopping event, while sports and fitness products recorded a 15-fold increase.
