Essar Oil & Gas secures five new CBM blocks across three states

Mumbai, Oct 15 (UNI) Essar Oil & Gas Ltd has secured five coal bed methane (CBM) blocks across West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana under the Government of India's Special CBM (SCBM) Bid Rounds 2025 and 2026, expanding its unconventional hydrocarbon portfolio by approximately 1,281 square kilometres, the company said in a statement here on Thursday.
