L&T ties up with Navantia to construct amphibian LHD platforms for Indian Navy

Mumbai, Oct 10 (UNI) Mumbai-headquartered engineering company Larsen & Toubro (L&T) today officially announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Navantia in Madrid, to establish the framework for a long-term collaboration, which includes the construction of amphibious Landing Helicopter Dock (LPD) platforms for the Indian Navy. Navantia is a major Spanish state-owned company which designs, constructs as well as supports military and civilian ships, besides submarines and maritime systems.
