New Delhi, Oct 6 (UNI) India's automobile retail market posted its strongest-ever September performance in 2026, with total vehicle sales jumping 31.82% year-on-year (YoY) to 25,36,920 units, according to data released by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) on Tuesday. The sharp rise was supported by strong demand across major vehicle categories, with September emerging as the best-ever month for retail sales in five of FADA's six segments.
