FTAs Open new opportunities for Indian farmers in Global Markets : union Minister Chouhan

Hyderabad, Sept 18 (UNI) Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) entered into by India are opening up new opportunities for farmers to access international markets, union Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Friday, urging states to align agricultural production with global demand and quality standards. Addressing the Regional Agriculture Conference for Southern States here, Chouhan said the agreements have facilitated market access for Indian agricultural products, including fruits, vegetables and grains.
