Bank branches may be affected by three-day strike from Sep 28; SBI to remain open on Sunday

Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Banking operations at branches of State Bank of India (SBI) and Canara Bank may be affected from September 28-30 due to a proposed three-day nationwide strike called by the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU). In separate customer advisories, the two banks said they were making efforts to ensure continuity of essential banking services during the strike period and advised customers to plan important transactions in advance.
