Withdraw GO issued for compulsory vaccine against Covid in UT : Assns

Puducherry, Dec 9 (UNI) Several associations including the Confederation of the State Government Employees Associations here on Thursday urged the government to withdraw the Order forthwith issued for compulsory vaccine against Covid in the Union Territory.
In a memorandum submitted to the officials at the Raj Nivas, the associations pointed out that the government allegedly failed to take steps to remove the apprehensions about the vaccine among the people.
Demand for Aadhaar card to the migrated workers is one of the reason which hinder the completion of the vaccine and hence, the government should remove the clause that Aadhaar is compulsory to take the vaccine.
