No permission was granted for meeting between Waze and Singh

Mumbai, Nov 30 (UNI) No meeting was held between former police commissioner Parambir Singh and suspended police officer Sachin Waze, an official from the Justice K U Chandiwal commission confirmed.
The official said that neither any application was made by them to the commission nor such an order was passed by the commission.
However, a Waze lawyer on social media platform said that a permission was obtained for the said meeting.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police has begun an inquiry into the incident and city police will submit its report to the Navi Mumbai Police, who will take further action against the four policemen including a police sub-inspector who escorted Waze from Taloja jail in Navi Mumbai to Old Secretariat Building Annex in Fort, where the proceedings of the commission are under way, and who allowed the alleged meeting to take place.
Meanwhile, Congress has also demanded a high level probe into the incident.
