Six Syrian soldiers killed in ambush East of Palmyra

Damascus, Apr 2 (UNI) Six Syrian soldiers were killed in an ambush by militants of the Islamic State terrorist group (IS, banned in Russia) east of Palmyra in the central Syrian province of Homs, a security source told Sputnik.
"A Syrian army vehicle was ambushed by IS militants on a highway... east of Palmyra, in the eastern part of Homs province. The militants opened fire on the car, killing six soldiers who were in it," the source said.
