Six Syrian citizens killed in Israeli attack on Iranian Consulate in Damascus

Tehran, Apr 2 (UNI) Six citizens of Syria were killed as a result of Israel's airstrike on the Iranian Consulate General building in Damascus, the state-run IRIB broadcaster reported on Tuesday.
The rescue operation to clear the rubble at the site has been completed, the broadcaster addded.
On Monday, Israel carried out an airstrike on the Iranian Consulate General building in Damascus, destroying the building. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has confirmed that the Israeli attack killed two IRGC generals and five officers.
