Iraqi PM, Iranian president discuss Israeli attack on Iranian consulate in Syria

Baghdad, Apr 4 (UNI) Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani held a phone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi on Wednesday on the Israeli deadly strike on Iran's consulate in Syria.
A statement issued by his media office said that in the phone talk, al-Sudani extended sincere condolences of Iraq on the death of Iranians in the attack, stressing Iraq's condemnation of the "sinful aggression."
Al-Sudani warned that the continuation of the conflict in Gaza would bring the region into "dangerous security slides," it said.
