Day temperatures above normal at few places over Rajasthan, Assam

Pune, April 10 (UNI) Day temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at a few places over west Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Kerala, and Mahe; at isolated places over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and east Rajasthan; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat state; at a few places over West Bengal and Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura; coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam; Tamil Nadu; Puducherry and Karaikal; and Lakshadweep; at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
These were markedly below normal (-5.1°C or less) at isolated places over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, east Madhya Pradesh, and Vidarbha; below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Telangana; and near normal over the rest of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.0°C was reported at Jeur (Madhya Maharashtra) over the country.
Hailstorms occurred in isolated places in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Sikkim, and Marathwada.

MPCC chief spokesperson files complaint against BJP

Mumbai, May 5 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) chief spokesperson, Atul Londhe, on Sunday lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against BJP's advertisement in a section of media, demanding to cancel candidature of the ruling Mahayuti candidates and file cases of alleged violation of code of conduct against them.
