Mumbai:Youth gets 10 yrs RI for assaulting minor

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) A special court for the protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) has awarded ten years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to a 26-year-old youth from Parel for sexually assaulting and harassing a minor girl in 2017.
According to the prosecution case, the youth had met the victim on a social networking site, and the case was registered in November 2018 when he posted the girl’s obscene photos.
According to the case registered with Bhoiwada police, the girl accepted the youth’s request to connect as there were several mutual friends.
