Bengaluru, April 5 (UNI) Dame Valerie Adams, the renowned shot putter from New Zealand, has been appointed as the International Event Ambassador for the 16th edition of the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bengaluru, scheduled for April 28.
With an illustrious career marked by numerous accolades, including four World Championships and multiple Olympic medals, Adams is celebrated as one of the most successful female shot putters in history.
Adams expressed her excitement about her association with the TCS World 10K Bengaluru, emphasising the event's capacity to unify individuals towards a common goal. She lauded the growing enthusiasm for running in India and anticipated witnessing the vibrant energy and passion of the participants during the race.
