Cong Govt implements 5 out of 6 guarantees in 100 days: Telangana CM

Narayanpet (Telangana), April 23 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that the Congress government has successfully implemented five out of six guarantees within the first 100 days of its tenure.
Addressing a party cadre meeting held at Madduru in this district on Tuesday, Reddy criticised the former BRS government for its failure to fulfil promises during their ten-year rule. He particularly lamented that the amount of loan waived for farmers during the BRS regime was insufficient to cover the interest payments to banks accumulated during the KCR administration.
Expressing gratitude to the Congress party for appointing him as TPCC president and granting him the Chief Minister's post, Reddy highlighted the efforts of the present Congress government in paying off a Rs. 24,000 crore interest on loans borrowed by the KCR government. He pledged to waive crop loans up to Rs. 2 lakh by August 15.

Vijayawada, May 3 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday complained to AP Chief Secretary KS Jawahar Reddy on the delay in distribution of social security pension to the beneficiaries thus subjecting them to harassment only for the benefit of the ruling dispensation.
