SP and Congress lack respect for faith -Yogi

Ayodhya (UP), Mar 14 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the opposition and said that Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress lack respect for faith and are incapable of ensuring livelihoods.
Addressing a huge public meeting organised here, the Chief Minister said, "They cannot provide food to the impoverished, nor can they arrange housing, medicine, or education. They fail to ensure the safety of our daughters and businessmen. In such circumstances, we should not endure these 'liabilities' any longer; they should be removed and thrown out of the country."
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 411 development projects worth Rs 1,090 crore on the occasion. He also participated in the closing ceremony of the Virat Kisan Mela and Agricultural Exhibition. He also and distributed certificates and selection letters to beneficiaries of various government schemes.
In his address, Yogi highlighted that from January 22 to March 10, over one crore devotees had the opportunity to have 'darshan' of Lord Shri Ram Lalla. "It is by the grace of God that the darshan and worship are progressing smoothly, peacefully, and securely," he said.
He also lauded the people of Ayodhya for setting an exceptional example of hospitality during this period.
Highlighting Ayodhya's newfound global resonance, the Chief Minister said, "Today, the name of Ayodhya echoes across the world. Some people said that not even a bird can fly into Ayodhya but now over one crore devotees have visited the magnificent and divine temple of Shri Ram Lalla."
He said that Ayodhya is swiftly evolving into the most beautiful city globally. "Would airports, four-lane, six-lane roads have been constructed? Would a safe environment have been fostered in the state under an SP or Congress government?" he said.
Yogi said, "Ayodhya is moving on a new path of development with works worth more than Rs 32,000 crores being carried out. New flight services are starting here, and new hotels and restaurants are opening."
He commended Ayodhya MP Lallu Singh and urged the citizens to support him at the forthcoming polls. Highlighting the unprecedented development in Ayodhya, he talked about setting up multi-level parking facilities alongside the Ram Path, Bhakti Path, and Dharma Path.
He emphasised the transformation of Ayodhya, the capital of the 'Suryavansh,' into a solar city, with the installation of 40 MW solar panels underway.
