UP: Youth killed, teenager injured in explosion in firecracker factory

Rae Bareli (UP), Mar 17 (UNI) A 19-year-old youth was killed and a teenager was injured in an explosion in a fire-cracker factory in Maharajganj area of Rae Bareli district here in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, police sources said here
Police sources said that Lal Mohammad owns a licenced firecracker factory in Pahre Mau village. "Around 11 am the explosives kept there caught fire leading to an explosion. "Virendra Kumar Viskhwakarma was killed in the incident and Shivam alias Chottu (15) was injured," they said.
Police sources said that Shivam has been admitted to the hospital. "The matter is being investigated. The body has been sent for postmortem examination," they said.
