India logs 10,488 new Covid-19 cases,  313 deaths

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) India has recorded 10,488 new Covid-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Sunday.
According to the bulletin issued by the Ministry, the latest addition has pushed the cumulative case tally to 3,45,10,413 while the death toll rose to 4,65,662 as 313 succumbed to the virus.

On a positive note, 12,329 more people have recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 3,39,22,037.
The recovery rate stands at 98.30 per cent, highest since March last year.

India's active caseload now stands at 1,22,714, less than one per cent of the total cases, the Ministry said.
According to the bulletin, 63.16 crore Covid tests for have been done so far.
Meanwhile, India has administered 116.50 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive.
