Former Manipur  Minister Hemochandra resigns from Congress party

Imphal, Mar 31 (UNI) Irengbam Hemochandra former Minister and Working President of Manipur Congress on Sunday resigned from the primary membership of the party.
He submitted his resignation letter from the primary membership of the Congress to the President of Manipur Congress, K Meghachandra.
Addressing the media after submitting his resignation Hemochandra said he decided with a heavy heart.
Hemochandra said the Congress party has no relevance in Manipur. He described Congress as rudderless and a sinking ship.
He alleged that there was no room for talent or growth in the Congress party.
Manipur goes to poll on April 19 and 29. Ten candidates are in the fray for two Lok Sabha seats.
