Lockdown relaxed in Manipur to enable people to procure essential items

Imphal, Apr 11 (UNI) : The lockdown in Manipur was relaxed today to enable people to buy essential items.
There was heavy rush in most places despite the order to wear mask and maintain safe distance.
However, masks were not available in the market .
Oil depots remained open from 7 to 11 am.
All district administration offices appointed officials to monitor the situation and implement the order strictly.
Police took extra care to maintain law and order and regulate movement of people and vehicles.
The relaxation was also done in view of celebration of Easter and Cheiraoba Celebration which fall on April 12 and April 13 .
