Jupiter Wagons bags Rs 957 Cr contract from the Ministry of Railways for Manufacturing and Supply of BOSM Wagons

Kolkata, Mar 13 (UNI) Jupiter Wagons, a provider of comprehensive mobility solutions encompassing rail, road and marine transportation, has bagged the acquisition of a 957 crores contract from the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for the manufacturing and supply of BOSM Wagons, official sources said on Wednesday.
The railway ministry in its letter dated March 6, has awarded the city Jupiter Wagons the manufacturing and supply contract for 2,237 units of BOSM wagons.
These wagons are specifically designed for the efficient transport of
bulk goods such as coal and ore within the Indian railway network.
This initiative is poised to catalyse smoother trade and foster economic growth.
BOSM wagons are specifically tailored for the efficient transportation
of bulk goods like coal and ore within India's railway network, aiming
to enhance trade facilitation and stimulate economic growth.
The contract, valued at a staggering Rs. 957 crores, further
strengthens Jupiter Wagons’ position in the market and highlights its
