New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) National Capital's air quality deteriorated further on Monday with the average Air Quality Index being measured at 281 at 1000 hrs , the Central Pollution Control Board said here.
City's air is reeling under the 'poor' category and due to the cold weather with minimum temperature settling 6.4 degrees C, along with high relative humidity pegging at 95 per cent, the air is dense as the dispersion of particulate matter is difficult in such conditions.
Air quality around the NCR also continued to remain similar, falling under the poor category at most of the places, including Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad , Greater Noida and Ghaziabad.
