Mental health information is given to frontline workers

Hamirpur (HP), Dec 8 (UNI) In order to make the frontline workers of various departments and workers of various agencies related to disaster management aware of various aspects of mental health during the Corona period, a three-day workshop was started by the District Disaster Management Authority at Hamir Bhawan.
On Tuesday addressing the inaugural session of the workshop, Executive District Revenue Officer Dr Ashok Pathania said that the global pandemic corona has not only affected people all over the world physically and financially but also the mental health of many corona infected people or their families.
He said that mental health is a sensitive subject in the present times and there is still a lack of awareness among the common people about it. In view of this, the District Disaster Management Authority has taken a commendable initiative by deciding to organize a three-day workshop for front-line workers and workers of various agencies related to disaster management.
