Mah: Cong MLA Chandrakant Jadhav passes away

Kolhapur, Dec 2 (UNI) Congress MLA Chandrakant Shankarao Jadhav passed away early on Thursday morning at a private hospital in Hyderabad, family sources said.
He was 56.
Mr Jadhav had been under treatment for lung infection for the last one week
Mr Jadhav was elected for the first time from Kolhapur-North in the 2019 general election, as a Indian National Congress candidate, defeating two time winner Shiv Sena candidate Rajesh Khirsagar, who is now chairman of state planning commission.
His body is to be brought here this afternoon for the last rites.
