BJP, Cong battle for supremacy as Karnataka prepares for crucial LS polls

Bengaluru, April 25 (UNI) Karnataka is on the cusp of a pivotal electoral contest as the state braces for parliamentary elections to 14 out of its 28 seats this Friday. The state has become a focal point for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress party, and the Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS)-led NDA alliance, setting the stage for an intense political battle.
For the BJP, Karnataka represents a vital gateway to South India. A strong showing in the state could bolster the party's national standing and challenge perceptions of its influence being predominantly in North and West India.
