AP Guv, CM condole death of famous Telugu lyricist Seetharama Sastry

Vijayawada, Nov 30 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy condoled the death of noted Telugu film lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry.
In a release here on Tuesday, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan expressed his profound grief and sadness over the demise of well known Telugu poet and lyricist Seetharama Sastry, popularly known as Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, while undergoing treatment in a hospital in Hyderabad, on Tuesday.
Governor Harichandan said Seetharama Sastry had penned over 3000 songs and won the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist, Nandi Award for Best Lyricist on several occasions and was conferred the Padma Shri award, in recognition of his contribution to the Telugu Film Industry. The Governor offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy also condoled the death of Seetharama Sastry. He lives in the hearts of Telugu people forever, he said and conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family.
