Youth exchange programme focuses on mental health, de-addiction and skill development

Dharamshala, Feb 5 (UNI) Mental well-being, drug de-addiction and skill development were the key highlights of the second day of the five-day inter-state youth exchange programme organised by Mera Yuva Bharat, a wing of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, at RHFWTC, Cheb in Kangra district.
About 35 youths from Rajasthan actively participated in a series of sessions aimed at health, self-development and cultural engagement. The day began with a morning yoga session, emphasising the importance of physical fitness and mental balance.
Psychologist Dr Jyoti Sharma from Zonal Hospital, Dharamshala, conducted a special session on mental health, sensitising participants on stress management, emotional stability and positive thinking. Later, Mangal Singh, President of Noble Community Foundation, Kangra, addressed the youth on the Drug-Free India Campaign and Tobacco-Free Himachal Vision 2047, urging them to stay away from substance abuse and act as awareness ambassadors in society.
