Voter list of Hamirpur Municipal Corp released, women voters outnumber men

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 5 (UNI) Women voters outnumber men voters in the Hamirpur Municipal Corporation voter list with 16,590 female voters as against 16,230 male voters, as per the details released by the district administration.
Elections to the Corporation will be held before April 30 as per the orders of the HP High court.
The entire area has been divided into fifteen wards as against eleven earlier when Hamirpur town was under the provision of a Municipal committee. Similarly, the final voter lists for all 9 wards of Sujanpur nagar Parishad, and all 7 wards each of Bhota Nagar Panchayat and Bhoranj Nagar Panchayat have also been published.
