TTD inks MoU with IOCL for Bio Gas Plant

Tirumala, Oct 12 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL ) on Wednesday signed an MOU here to set up a plant for production of biogas from wet garbage.
Signed as part of the Swachh Bharat campaign,the agreement documents were exchanged by TTD SE-2 , Jagadeeshwar Reddy and IOCL Executive Director Anil Kumar.
The ₹12 crore bio-gas plant set up as a joint venture with TTD and IOCL investing ₹6 crore each will be spread on two acre land and consume 35 tons of wet wastes daily.
